About Me
I was born and raised in Malaysia and never left my country until 1990 when I went to London, England to do my PhD. in Biotechnology at the University of Westminster. That journey opened up new venues for me. It led me to work at the National University of Singapore, Singapore and then the Human Genome Center, at the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. I believe that there are no accidents in life and that my presence in Japan was part of a bigger picture, a very important part in my life's journey in restrospect. After Japan, I went to work at the University of Kentucky, Kentucky, USA where I met my husband.
As it turns out, my presence in Japan was a life changing experience for me. It triggered my soul "memory". Although I spent alomost 14 years in scientific research, even pursuing Bioinformatics to broaden my field of expertise - I never felt a sense of fulfillment. Then in 2000 I had my Kundalini awakening in Tokyo, Japan and I discovered my natural healing ability. I knew then that my life purpose is to be an energy healer. Ever since, I have taught Kundalini to people in Malaysia and the United States. I have also acquired skills in other healing modalities such as Seven Rays, Violet Flame Reiki, Usui Reiki, Karuna Ki, and Ki Manna. In 2004, I left scientific research and started doing healing work at Lexington Complementary and Integrative Therapies (formerly known as New Day Complementary Care Clinic) in Kentucky. I have been developing my healing network in the Cambridge, Massachusetts area since moving here in September 2006. Besides energy healing, I am also interested in other alternative healing, one in particular is herbalism. In 2007, I obtained my apprenticeship with the The Boston School of Herbal Studies.
As most of you were informed, I took a break from my healing/spiritual work during the period of 2008/2009 to prepare for the arrival of my 'litte angel' Terra Mei (Beautiful Earth). She made her appearance on planet Earth on 24th January, 2009 through the beautiful process of hypnobirthing. I now resume my healing and spiritual work.
Latest Update : Our little family will be moving back to the South (NC) sometime in June, 2010. Terra will be near family and Jay will be having the career that he likes. I hope to pursue my healing/spiritual work over there but in the meantime will continue on doing my best.
